the Top Floor

Erika walked up the stairs, with her hand still on her head where 0014 had hit her, and she passed 009 on the way to her own room.

He had barely noticed Erika, he saw her out of the corner of his eye but didn't say a word.Erika, I'm sorry I attacked you. he told her through telepathy, the painful memories were effecting his personality right now.

The sound of someone yelling inturrupted his thoughts. Now what's going on? He shifted his gaze towards his opened door and saw Erika walk slowly past him holding her head. " Did something happen?" he asked.

"Uhh...Nothing happened..I just have a headache." She looked a Duarte, still holding her head. She walked into her room, landing face first on the bed.

Everyone has a headache nowadays. Maybe it's just too crowded here he thought. Without another word he turned his head back to face the ceiling.

Joe buried his face into his arms, he was pretty sure Erika and Duarte could hear him, he didn't care. Why! Why do I always give into emotional pain?! he thought to himself shivering all over, he couldn't even look up because his body was shuting down on him! He called for anyone to come help or at least talk to him through telepathy, Joe slammed his head up against the wall harder than before trying to make himself stop crying. "Someone please just come talk to me, I'm not handling this well and its hurting me!" Joe muttered as low as he could hoping someone would come, hoping he wouldn't end up pass out again, hoping that if it was Albert he wouldn't hit him for actting immature!

Alistair climbed the stairs quickly in search of 009. The banging down the hall caught his attention, he went to investigate; only to find him crumpled on the floor. "A-are you okay?" He asked, concerned, and dropped down to his knees infront of 009.

"N-no....thanks for your concern though...." he said as blood dripped down the side of his face from banging his head on the wall, he was shivering in a slight state of tramautic shock. He looked up on to feela jolt of pain go to the back of his head, "Aggh!" Joe yelped painfully, "I knew what I was doing was stupid, now I hurt even worse."

"O-kay," Alistair rocked back onto his heels, this guy was supposed to be the team leader? "Is there any way I could help?" he offered. I'm not a psychiatrist, but I can listen... or go get someone better suited to helping emotionally distressed cyborgs... he thought wryly.

"................Your probably the only one who would listen, thanks for offering. Thank you...." Joe whimpered he was still hellishly shivering, his eyes met 0023's, "Your eyes would look prettier with out the glasses." he said faking a smile. He had a fever that kept spiking, blood kept dripping from the side of his face the throbbing pain from back of his head was getting to him.

0023 flushed, pressing his glasses up his nose. "Y-you... you don't look so-" he faltered, recalling the sedative in his finger. Hesitantly, he grabbed 009s arm - he didn't react, which worried Alistair - and slid a needle into his skin.

008's voice made him jump. "0023," he stammered as he flipped around to face the man.

"Hey zero zero eight...." Joe muttered zoning in and out, he was blacking out from blood loss. He showed no signs of reaction to Alistair touching him, "I'm fine Alistair........" Joe said to him as his fever spiked again.

Alistair was feeling way out of his element. He was not used to dealing with situations like this. He wasn't even sure what to do; much less what the problem was.
He glanced back at Joe, who appeared ready to pass out. “Hey,” he spun back to 009 and fell to his knees again, “Stay with us kid,” 0023 patted his cheek. He was burning up!

“What do you give cyborg with a fever?” His voice took on a hint of panic as he asked 008. 0023 frowned; It sounded like the start to a bad joke.

Joe didn't react when Alistair touched him at all, his fever was blurring his vision! "unghh......" he groaned in pain trying to keep himself awake, "I'm-m-m try-ying.................." he could barely lift his head as he talked, he kept looking at the floor feeling more light headed every second. Joe whimpered as the fever spiked again it was at one hundred four degrees, he focused on the floor to keep himself awake because he was scared to know what would happen if he fell asleep or passed out.

Joe was oblivous to 008 touching him, Asche jumped out of the rafters! "Don't touch him or I'll teleport him to the place he is in his mind!" she growled at 008, Joe could hear them speaking "Your............the brat that attacked me in the back roads!"

"Oh hahah!" Asche smirked, "All I want to know is if any of you wanna help me? I can tell you where Black Ghost is!", Joe could hear what she said and opened his mouth to say something but stopped. Asche smiled lightly and released Joe, he shivered slightly and immediately blacked out from the fever that he had, "Whoops...........That was over doing it....." she laughed nervously to 008 and Alistair!

Alistair pressed himself against the wall, wishing he were invisible. He wasn't a fighter. He didn't know the first thing about fist fights, so naturally, he'd always tried to leave when the guns came out; not that he'd ever had to deal with gun fights. But when 009 passed out, he pulled his unconscious body out of the way. "Help you with what?" he asked nervously, and as an after thought threw in his question from earlier, that no one had answered. "WHO is Black Ghost?"

"Our creator............He is the one who kidnapped us all and turned us in to cyborgs!" Asche said to Alistair, Joe's fever spiked again putting his at a point to where he could die if the fever didn't break or he didn't wake up. Asche looked at him worried, "009 wake up!" she yipped.

There was yet another disturbance in the hallway. This had most definately drawn Duarte's attention now. Figuring that he wouldn't be able to take a nap at all, he peeked his out into the hallway. " What the heck is going on out there?" The blaster in 008's hand made him draw back a little and soften his tone.

A flustered 003 came running up the stairs to 009's side. " Joe! Joe are you alright?" she dropped to her knees and felt his forehead. " Oh no what's happened to him?"

"We're not sure.. he was banging his head against the wall, and now he's got a fever..." 0023 stammered. He had a feeling the Asche had something to do with 009's state, but didn't say anything, because it sounded a little crazy.
