The Hallways

The Scot blinked a bit in hesitation and hummed to herself in thought.

"Well the gender was hard to tell, but it was definitely a young voice all right. It said a set of weird numbers, similar to all of your names, and well he was leading me through a large complex building with scientists, and bright lights," she frowned at how ridiculous it sounded, "It must have been a dream, but that's all I can remember."

cyan snorted at the word assassin.
"assassin? sorry to disappoint, i never considered enough of anything to train, of course i wasn't really. freezing the instructor isn't the best way to end a class, i guess."
she looked a little sheepish for a moment but quickly recovered. she saluted the man stiffly.
"Sorry sir, i've got a lot of bad memories attached to men. so forgive me if i'm more of a jerk then normal"
She gave another one of her few smiles to Bonnie.
"Bonnie, that's a cool name. do you mind if i call you by your name? numbers are a little too impersonal to me, and i've had my fill of being treated like an object."

Bonnie smiled back happy for the expression given as she nodded stepping a bit from the blue haired girl

"Of course you can, numbers don't suit me any way. It's too weird."

Her whole demeanor changed as she realized they had been standing in the hall for a long time.

"If you all don't mind, perhaps you have a place to stay for me, until I can get back home."

cyan flashed bonnie a peace sigh, before returning to her static state. she was trying not to tense up, but the man had her on edge. the only men she could remember where the scientist and their cohorts, not shining examples of their gender. his presence reminded her that she'd have to keep her guard up.
"Well i've got no where better to go."
She leaned against the wall out of habit and shuddered as her body super cooled the wall. the police should have given up by now and getting to stay in a proper building was a nice change from the last few months. plus the scot seemed cool enough. she hadn't seen enough of 003 to make a verdict, but 0014 and 004 she didn't like. time would most likely change that, 0014 scared her a bit and 004, well he was a guy. she knew it was unfair to 004, but her instincts told her to stay away. maybe she'd be able to grow used to him, after all he did have good taste in books. Her own black humor had caused one of the scientist to throw the The Trial at her one day. she had stayed up to finish it.
she shook herself from her musings and cocked her head slightly.
"i heard the brandy bit, but do you have something non alcoholic? i tend to run on sugar and caffeine. "
she forced herself to relax more, after all it would be bad if they misread her body language. She’d been in enough interrogations, no need for more over a silly phobia

Bonnie piped up at the thought of sugar, or any sort of food at all since the last few years were cursed with meager portions, and rarely anything that could be dubbed as delectable enough to her once <i>spoiled</i> pallatte.

"Sugar." She tried her best not to sound excited, but failed a bit. "Well if the miss here is going to eat, I would surely like to help." As if on cue her stomach had growled.

Food might help clear her mind, and then find a way out of the place. She did not yet want to face the fact that what Vesper had said could have been true, in fact, it had made perfect sense. The clothes she wore, the dreams, 001, and nearly everything, but if it had been true she knew one fact. She was a <i>cyborg</i> like one of them.

cyan shook her head at boonie's stomach. she couldn't stand the sight of food anymore, her slowed down metabolism didn't need much and often violently rejected anything extra. though she's kill for a warm soda right now, not that it'd stay warm. a slight touch and it's cool down nicely, then she had to try and not freeze the thing solid before she could drink it. she hoped boonie ate better then her. she's such a sweet thing, being turned into a cyborg hadn't 'ruined' boonie like it had with cyan.
"well i'm sure you eat better then me so you can have my share."
cyan gave a slight chuckle.
"i can't cook much though, so i hope one of you can."
she felt the ice on the wall behind her building up so she moved slightly to the right to let it melt.
"so, can we raid you fridge?"

cyan raised an eyebrow at 0014.
"what you can't use names? or do you think my name is funny?"
cyan shrugged and rolled her eyes.
"yeah i know it's a rather horrid pun, but it's something. it's not like i asked to be named Cyan. if it makes you feel better just give me a number and i'll try to remember it. it's not like i was made in the same place as you guys."
0014 was beginning to get on her nerves with the whole number names thing, but everyone had their quirks. another deep breath , relax, repeat until calmed down. it always worked. at least 004 hadn't pointed a gun to her head... yet. cyan turned to 003, at least she was a friendly face that wasn't scared of anyone.
"flight attendant? did you fly before all this? or is he pulling my leg?"
cyan waved a hand lazily.
"eh, doesn't really matter i guess. whenever your ready miss i'm game. though i'd hate to freeze anymore floor then i have to."
she looked down at the ice that slightly covered her feet and a foot around them.

Bonnie frowned at the thought of not being able to be addressed by her name, and racked her her brain for any solution. It only led her to the numbers this 001, person had addressed her by.

"Call me 00LO?" Her confusion at the name showed clearly, but it was good enough for her. Names and introductions were the first step in creating a bond, no matter how strained it was, at least that's what she believed.

"Is that good enough for you Miss?" Her gaze nearly met Vesper's as she felt the woman a bit of a threat, her own heart quickening and the bubbling feeling along her skin struck again, to only be ignored a second time.

cyan stretched out with a soft sigh.
"food and a bed? now that, is an offer i can't refuse. i don't remember the last time i slept in a building that wasn't falling down."
she straightened up and motioned for 003 to go first.
"Well miss Francoise, lead the way. i'm looking forward to seeing something other the frozen ramen."

Cyan rolled her eyes at 0014's attitude.
"I suppose i deserved that."
she laughed darkly.
"Maybe she doesn't like the cold."
she shook her head lightly.
"So it's just us girls now why don't we head to the kitchen and do what ever it is that girls do."
Cyan gave the two remaining an odd smirk.
"Sorry, but i've never been good at small talk so if you want to know something just ask. i'm used to being ignored or ordered, being able to speak freely..."
cyan closed her eyes and took a breath.
"It's odd, but then again we're not exactly the picture of normalcy are we?

"as much as i'd love to say she's too untrusting, i couldn’t with out being a hypocrite. i just hide my distrust, i find it's easier in the long run. well, she'll just have to deal with me the best she can. it's not like i can just give myself a number."
she gave a look of disgust as she said the word number.
"not that i'd want to. numbers are not for the living."
she glanced at the stair case 004 had used.
"Hey, Francoise? what can you tell me about the others. just basic stuff, like personality. i want to know if i'm dealing with more 0014's."
she laughed as she followed Francoise to the kitchen.
"i'd hate to have another gun in my face with out a warning, you know."

Bonnie just followed along clueless on what to do with herself in such a big house but as she listened more to the blonde woman she found herself curious about the others.

"So the baby is the one who talked to me," she giggled a bit believing it cute in a weird way.

"It sounds like you are a family Francoise, I'm excited to meet the rest of you." Her eyes roamed around the rooms as she found they were nearing the kitchen. Her mouth watered at the thought of food, and what type these people could possibly have. Her mind recalled the Chinese cook that 0014 had spoken of, and it all together made her cravings greater.

cyan almost blanched at the thought of food.
"sorry i don't eat more then once a day. i'll just help myself to something to drink if you don't mind."
cyan began to nose about in the kitchen and found some tea bags
"green tea? is it green. i've never seen green tea. is it any good?"
she poked around for a tea kettle. she found on and poured some water to boil.
"let's see what’s in the fridge liquid wise..."
she opened the fridge and saw beer and milk.
"ok... what do you drink Francoise? all i see is beer and milk. no caffeine or sugar!"
she shook her head and sat on a nearby counter

Bonnie smiled curious at the look of the new food items.

"Anything would be just fine with me Miss," she tilted her head in the direction of Cyan.

"Well, the milk must be for the baby, and the beer for the men, check in the freezer if there is any ice please." The Scot had a craving for something cool to cease the heat that she felt gradually consuming her body. Believing it was the scarf Bonnie took it off and folded it nicely into a square and held it tightly.

"Do you need any help Francoise?"

"i got the ice. you ok bonnie?"
Cyan grabbed what looked like an ice tray from the freezer.she placed in ont hte counter and saw it was.
"Tea sounds like it'll be done soon. can someone else get it? if i touch the kettle it'll freeze."
she stiffend when 004 entered, but she forced herself back into her lax state.
"no coffee, i checked twice. Bonnie you look hot. come 'ere"
Cyan held her hands out close to bonnie's head, but was cafefull not to touch her.
"that should cold you off for a bit. you can sit near me if it helps. just DON'T touch me."
she was carefull to not touch bonnie the whole time.
"if you want i can make coffee if you can find the mix."

Bonnie nodded a bit taken aback.
"It was most likely the uniform don't worry I'm not used to wearing such stuffy and close fitting things."
She tried her best not to gawk too long at 004's hands but she found them fascinating, strange, and horrifying all at once.
Her body tensed again at the thought and she felt her body temperature heat up in a jolt as she accepted Cyan's offer.
"Yes I'll sit next to you," she spoke to Cyan than turned to 004.
"Did we disturb you 004?" Her gaze did not meet his as it usually would for any one else, instead she only focused on the small tiles making up the kitchen floor and counted each one.
